Owner Information
When anyone becomes a new resident of Mesa Village, there are always questions about your new home. Mesa Village frequently sends out emails alerts regarding meetings, water shut-offs and other important information. Trash, Recycling, and Compost
Mesa Village trash, recycling, and compost collection services are covered as part of our HOA dues. Trash is collected every Tuesday and Friday Recycling is collected every Tuesday Compost is collected every Wednesday THE COLLECTORS WILL NOT PICK UP ANYTHING THAT IS SITTING BESIDE THE DUMPSTERS. Please take good-condition items like furniture, decor, and toys to Goodwill or another local donations hub. Consult the City of Austin's "What Do I Do With?" tool if you are unsure


Reserved Parking Spaces
Each unit of Mesa Village is allotted a reserved parking space. The reserved parking space numbers correspond with the unit numbers. You can find your space using this list . Visitor parking spaces are available to residents and their guests. Vehicles may not be stored for extended periods of time in the parking lot. Vehicles with out of date registration will be towed. No RV's, campers or boats are allowed parking at Mesa Village.


What do our HOA Fees pay for?
Mesa Village HOA fees cover several essential utilities and services for all owners: Water - Mesa Village was built with a shared boiler system. Units do not have individual hot water heaters. This eliminates the need for an individual water or gas bill for each owner. Water for all units and landscaping, heated water, and wastewater removal are provided by the City of Austin municipal water utility. A significant portion of monthly HOA fees goes toward our water services

Plumbing Repairs and Water Shut-Offs
When any unit is in need of plumbing repairs, the water must be shut off for your building by an approved plumber, scheduled by PMT. This is the only plumber authorized to shut off water for the buildings. Water can only be shut off on the 2nd or 4th Wednesday of each month. Leasing Rules
Mesa Village does not allow short term leasing of units, such as Airbnb or VRBO. In addition, the Mesa Village By-Laws stipulates a cap on the number of units that can be designated as rentals (70). As of September, 2023, Mesa Village has reached that cap. No more leased condos are allowed at Mesa Village. PMT is managing a waiting list for rentals. Mesa Village Pool and Pool Keys
Pool keys must be passed from owner to owner - they cannot be copied. If a pool key is lost or not passed on, one must be purchased from our property management company, PMT. Flooring and Paint Colors
Due to the age of our condos, upstairs units may have some damaged lightweight concrete underneath the flooring. This damaged concrete can cause excessive noise to units below. When replacing your flooring, please take steps to repair your lightweight concrete with masonry product.
